Is there a minimum balance requirement for the Spend Account?

There is no minimum balance requirement for the Spend Account, ensuring accessibility and flexibility in managing your funds.

Why do I have to provide Mudflap with my SSN and other personal information?

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money-laundering activities, federal law requires that we obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person or entity who opens an account.

What this means for you: when you open an account, we will ask for the names, addresses, dates of birth (if applicable), tax identification numbers, and other information that will allow us to identify your business, its owners, and you. We may also ask to see identifying documents.  When you apply, make sure to use physical addresses (home address for individuals and business address for the business), so that we can verify identity.  Do not provide P.O. boxes or mail stop addresses.
